Imagine a huge reference book. From our earliest language-learning days, every time we encounter or learn a new word, we log it. Eventually, that word links with others through meaning, like learning that a street is a type of road. Initially, though, it is just a word.

Our brain’s thesaurus is built to amass language through lists of words. Without this, our communication would remain very basic.

You can exercise your Lexical Memory cognitive function by attending one of our online classes.  Our online classes are available morning and afternoon so you can choose a time that suits you.   Start anytime – enrolment is open all year long.
