The purpose of the Arrowsmith assessment is to identify the strengths and weaknesses in the student’s learning areas in order to create a learning profile.
The tests are used to identify the student’s specific learning profile and will also be used as the basis for designing his or her individual program of cognitive exercises when the student enrols into the Arrowsmith program.
Each student is assessed using tests developed by Barbara Arrowsmith Young.
What is involved in the assessment process?
The full Arrowsmith assessment process ordinarily takes one to two half days to complete, depending on the individual’s age. We also conduct a Woodcock Johnson IV Achievement Assessment on students under the age of 18.
After the assessment, we will arrange a meeting with you to provide a written learning profile describing the strengths and weaknesses in the specific learning areas that have been assessed.
